Marriage is a punishable offense for boys 20 and under 5 for girls. The Sonarbariya Union Parishad has been campaigning extensively as a social movement in this regard. Sonarbariya Union Parishad has organized a number of meetings with the Kazidis for not marrying without a birth certificate. No marriage law is perfect without registration.
